David Kamerman MBA, CFP
David is Senior Vice President and Regional Director for Envestnet, a leading provider of intelligent systems for wealth management and financial wellness. He leads the team of wealth management consultants in Canada and is also responsible for overall business development. David has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry and is the co-founder of Flourish Financial.
Carl Van Der Boom PMP
Carl has served as a member of the Flourish Financial board since 2017. Carl is currently retired and volunteers locally with various non-profit organizations and as an International Relief Manager with World Renew, an organization working in 30 countries and responding to natural disasters and civil unrest. Carl has over 34 years of experience working in the Information Technology sector including 16 years managing projects at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Tim Schuurman Hons. BA, MA
Tim joined the Flourish Financial board in spring 2021. Tim is currently the Associate Deputy Minister at the Ontario Ministry of Finance where he provides leadership to the Province’s policy and legislative framework for Ontario’s taxation and benefits systems, and manages the Province’s fiscal relationship with municipalities. Tim’s public service career spans 24 years, and includes time with both the federal and provincial governments in the area of budgeting, taxation and federal-provincial relations.
Blessing Oluloto Hons. BA
Blessing Oluloto joined the Flourish Financial board in 2021. In the daytime, she serves at Canada Baptist Ministries to expand their philanthropic footprint with growth and cause marketing. She also serves as the MarComs Board Director for Community Development Halton. Blessing is passionate about helping NGOs establish an online presence through content creation and strategy development. Her specialty is figuring out how to make altruism actually effective with tech, enterprise and marketing.
